SVP/Treasury Management Team Leader
What I enjoy most at Bell is simply the people I get to work with every day. Our ownership group empowers front-line employees to always do the right thing. This alignment, from the top down, makes me feel confident we’ll retain our culture as we continue to grow.
In my role, I focus on all things related to commercial deposits. I set up services that save our clients trips to a branch – and most importantly, help them keep their cash safe. My goal is to help clients deploy their cash in a way that fits with the overall goal of their organization.
With my experience, I can help owners and business principals set appropriate expectations with their accounting teams, who often have to carry out the work of making changes determined by someone other than themselves. Having been through hundreds of bank conversions with customers, I can help guide the process to ensure it goes smoothly for them. I’ve been told I’m “not your typical banker,” and clients have described me as “refreshing,” which feels great.
I really love thinking about how we can improve. We have a growing, diverse customer base, who expect different things from their bank. I put my mind to work on how we can meet the needs of our clients, while making sure our processes make sense internally as well.
I’m originally from New Prague, Minn., and earned my bachelor’s degree from Winona State University. I’ve been in banking since 2001 and prior to joining Bell, I held positions with State Bank of New Prague (my hometown bank!), Wells Fargo and Bank of the West.
I was honored to be named one of Finance & Commerce magazine’s Top Women in Finance in 2017.
My husband, Jason, and I live in Savage, Minn., and spend time chasing around our 2 toddlers – who are not twins! I also love to be active working out, running, hiking, camping or anything outdoors. When I have the chance, I like to try a great cold press or kombucha by day, a new craft beer or wine by night.
